Specialty fibers require specialty preforms \u2013 therefore IPT Fiber will manufacture its own preforms for its specialty fiber range. Preforms for customised orders will be also offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specialty sensing fibers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A key component of any optical sensing system is a fiber optic sensing element \u2013 these are optical fibers designed and processed to achieve the sensitivity needed in a particular application.
